The Stranger Test

See your business the way a new customer does.

Your customers meet you cold. In about a minute, see how people in your industry usually find a business, where they can find you, what they see when they land on your website, and the three things I'd fix first.

Your report appears on this page. I get a copy too, and I might follow up once with a suggestion. No spam.

Part 1How customers in your industry chooseA map of how people usually find and pick a business like yours. A webshop, a tradie and a B2B firm get found in very different ways.
Part 2How do they find you?Where you show up on the channels that matter for your industry: Google, Maps, reviews, social, directories and AI assistants like ChatGPT.
Part 3What do they see? What a first-time visitor takes away from your website, why they'd choose you, and what would make them leave.
Part 4Your next three movesThe three opportunities I'd start with, each with one thing you can do this week.
Why a stranger's view

"The maker is too close"

Claude Hopkins, the copywriter who wrote that line in 1927, found that owners see their own business as ordinary. A stranger doesn't know what you meant to say. They only see what's on the page, and most decide in seconds.

Common questions
Is there a catch?

No. It costs you nothing. If the report shows something you'd like help with, you can book a call. If not, keep the report.

How does it know how my customers find businesses?

It starts from how buying usually works for your kind of business: a webshop, a local tradie and a B2B firm are found in very different ways. Then it checks where your business actually shows up. It's a starting point, not a substitute for your own sales data.

How does the AI check work?

An AI assistant with live web search is asked who it would recommend for your service in your area, the way a customer would ask. AI answers change from day to day, so treat it as a snapshot, not a ranking.

What happens to my details?

I use them to send you the report and, at most, one follow-up. Nothing is sold or shared. See the privacy policy for the details.
